I am a visual artist based in my hometown Chicago, IL. I am a 2023 graduate from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in Critical Social Thought, looking to pursue further art training in the graduate program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
My artwork emphasizes the interconnectedness of all beings, often expressed by symbols found in nature such as trees, roots, and water. I work primarily in crochet sculpture and painting, though I am becoming more familiar with woodworking and other materials.
I am currently in pursuit of a Fulbright scholarship to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I will be working with the artist Ernesto Neto.
